Default Possible electrical problem???

My car has not been drove in 3 days, this morning I went to start it. It cranked so slow, the battery was drained, good thing for a warranty. They hooked it up to the machine at advance but it said it was good, the guy gave me a new battery anyways. I put the new battery in but I had it turned onto valet mode so it would not go off. I hooked the power then I started to put the ground on and the alarm went off, even though it should not sound off in valet. I opened the doors so the alarm wouldn't arm and it still went off. I had to have my brother use the remote to turn the alarm off just to get the battery connected. How is it getting power for the alarm to sound off even though it isn't armed? Could my alarm cause my battery to drain so far that it would not start?

Sounds like it might be your alarm. I had a similar problem in that for the past few times that i started my car it wouldnt start and therefore i had to jump it every time. Well, come to find out MY alternator had a bad diode, so it was recharging sometimes, but most of the time it was feeding off the battery

I'm thinking it was a ****ty battery. Advance hooked it up to their battery tester and it said it was supposedly good. I told the manager bull****, because I couldn't get it to hold a charge. The battery had a 3 year warranty, only on for a little over a year, and the guy was trying to not honor the warranty. Me and the manager got into it, finally I said, I quote, "I'll take every damn part back on my car covered under warranty under refund if you want to play that kind of **** with me, and I will never buy another thing from here. The battery is under warranty, it won't hold a charge, and I want a replacement now." After that the guy gave me one and said "You know I could lose my job over this." I said "What for? Honoring my warranty? That's your problem not mine. I'm not losing my money on your crap batteries." Then I walked out. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ADVANCE!! They suck, their alternators suck (one died on me after being in the car only 5 hours!), their bateeries, and everything else. Go to Auto Zone, O' Reilly's, anywhere but Advance. Sorry for the rant, but they suck.
