Default Possibly Buying 2000 LS2, Have ???'s

Whatsup Guys, I'm looking into buying a 2000 LS2 which has just under 100,000 miles on it. The guy is asking $3900, it is in mint condition inside and out. I'm going to have my mechanic look over it tomorrow and tell me what he thinks. What I need from you guys is some input. What problems should I look for in the car that you guys have found to be common in this model? Also what usually needs to be replaced around this mileage mark, 100,000, that way I can check to see if they have already been taken care off. Also what do you guys think of the price, the book on it is around $6500. Its power everything, black cherry with a spoiler. Thank for any info you guys can give me.

Newbie Steve.

The price sounds right for the year. That guy must have driven that thing like mad to get 100k in less than 4 years.....mines a '97 with 40k....

Anyway

The biggest problem with ALL Saturns is oil burning. Some burn none, others go through more oil than gas. It doesn't develop into anything major but can be annoying for people that want a no maintence car. Check it once a month and you'll be fine.

Major things (that means I'm not listing thinks like oil and spark plugs) that should have been changed/replaced after a 100k or will be needing changing/replacing soon (all that I can think of anyway) are:

Fuel filter
Coolant temp sensor (common thing to break)
Trans fluid
Brake pads
Check for warped rotors (also common problem)
EGR (mine went after 37k)
Coolant
