Default Radiator Fan not coming on A/C doesn't work...

Aight Yesterday I guess I messed up 2 things(sucks for me).

Anyways my radiator fan is not coming on I did a search plus read my handy dee dandy Chilton's book. Needless to say alot of the problem point's to the ECTS. But I don't think the problem I'm thinking It's in the motor for the fan. I say this because in the manual it says you can test the motor with jumper wires to the battery ( I used speakers wires) don't know If i tested it right but still not coming on. Even if I turn on the A/C still doesn't come on what does everyone think it can be?

Second problem My A/C. When I turned it on it worked for a little bit then stopped so I popped my hood and took a look. Well at the compressor where the belt sits It's not turning it almost looks like It's siezing up. When the A/C was running fine it would rotate any suggestions on this part. I read a few post and some where saying might be the pressure I don't know anyway's I could use any help??????

how exactly did u jumper it cause u should be able to get it to come on with just a wire from each terminal of the battery to each of the metal leads of the fan (one to each) u kan mix up pos and neg itll just spin backwords...

and the belt... is the belt moving and the ac pully just sitting still cause that kant be good for the belt.....

Default about ur fan

I had the same thing happen to my 92 sl1. Don't know what you have.
I did the jumper thing to make the fan work. I found out that it was a sensor. For the life of me I don't remember the name of the sensor, however I am pretty sure that it is not the coolant temperature sensor. Anyway, look into your engine compartment from the driver's side. U will then be looking at the back end of the engine block. Follow the air intake line for your engine. As you trace along it you will see a large radiator hose entering the block. Focus where you see the hose connecting to the block. Look directly underneath the hose, u will see a sensor there. That is the honey that controls the function of the fan. Now, I may be wrong about the coolant temperature sensor being the one you want. But if I remember right the coolant temp sensor is the one to the right of the sensor I just described to you. Just know that they are both keyed differently. So you will know if you got the right one when u try to plug it in. Even saturn was scratching their head about what I needed (dealer only item). If and when u go to Saturn ask if u can ask a mechanic to help ya out. Cuz the parts guys may not know.
Don't think the price runs to high, but if price is a concern then maybe u should call 6th planet.
If I am right in this, please send me your first born.

Check the relays and fuses for the cooling fan and the a/c if all fine check your coolant temp sensor (located on the drivers side of the eng. connector has yellow and black wires. Releave pressure in coolant system before removing sendor to check.)
