Default SERIOUS CAR problem

umm well this morning, as i was ''started my car'', it wouldn't start. There was hardly and juice in the battery so i just figured the cold killed my battery. So came lunch time and i jump started my car and let it idle for a while, then i turned it off and ate lunch, so i then ''tried'' to turn it on and same thing, it had no juice. So me pissed off decided to leave it alone because i was going to be late already for schoool. So then as i rolled up the windows VERY slowly, heard a real fast CLICK(or TICK) noise coming from the center console. I looked under the E-BRAKE cover thingy and found a plastic box thingy and i felt it and thats where i assume the click is coming from and well yeah, i'm stuck from there. And when i tryed rolling up the driver side window the RPM gauge would fluctuate.

I would have to agree with it being the alternator and that box under the ebrake handle is the control module for the electric seatbelts.

i think somehow the seat belts are being shorted and well the driver side window won't roll up and the passenger's does. And now that its dark, its kinda ''easier'' to find the culprit. Well i unplugged my CD PLayer, and it was the same. Next came the power window switches and power mirror, nothing, next came the fuel pump fuse, it was good, i have yet to check them all out but i have a feeling if i disconnect that seatbelt regulator thing, or the fuse, that that will be it, but now i just gotta keep my car safe from being jacked.

o yeah, the alternator was changed about a year ago, could it still be it? And the battery light doesn't come on. And on the above post, i had the dome light on and it flickered on ''various levels'' It was on bright, medium, and very low. Thats how i could tell it was ''good''

it could still be the alternator, if you don't have much juice in ur battery its because the altenator isint recharging it, otherwise it could be the battery

either battery or alt, or a short that drained the batt.. I'd start by taking the battery out and taking it to a parts place to get it checked & charged

If you have a mulit-meter you can easily tell if the alternator is working correctly. Jump the car and while it is running check the voltage of the battery. If it is reading 12.4-ish volts then you know it is not getting charged. It should be reading in the high 13's or low 14's.
