Default slightly concerned

ok well the problem is my car is making this really loud popping sound originating from somewhere in the engine/transmissino area. the best i can tell is its coming from the passenger side front, near the strut or somewhere close by. it happens when i accelrate or make a low speed turn with the wheel turn to full lock. i think it may be an engine mount lower mount not really sure. It just seems like it happens when ever the engine can torque the other direction. like any time i change gears or when i satrt moving from like a light or stop sign. its like a loud crack. i have no clue what it is but it's beginning to worry me. so any help would be great.

Check the upper mount to make sure that is has not collapsed or is breaking up. If it's good then it may be worth while checking the lower mount. Try to get the noise by rocking the engine back and forth and see if you can trace it down that way.

Have your CV Joint's check out and inspected fully. During a full lock turn, the CVs will do that if they are bad and if they are getting really bad, it would do it when you drive every so oftern.

CV stands for constant volocity joints.
