yeah...i got mine from Saturn too...supposedly the others don't last long...but...on the PCV it says AC Delco so who knows...you can probably find it cheaper...but does it really matter at like $2-3 anyways?

will do...you say they're on the valve cover next to the oil cap? the thing I see looks like a vacuum hose running from my intake manifold...am I thinkin' of the same thing?

it looks like a vac hose from the valve cover to the manifold...you are correct...when you wiggle it out, it should just look like a silver(probably oily) metal mini-can....has a hole in the bottom...when you pull it out of the hose, it has a metal nub on top that the metal band on the hose closes around to keep it in there....pretty much just a pop out, pop in job...

ok thanks...it's dark here right now so come morning I'll have a look-see.


*edit* So I had a look-see and I checked the PCV to see if it rattled. Well it did. so, that's good news I suppose, but I still don't know what the problem is...

just as a heads up kinda....that tapping sound in my engine bay is gone...i ran the OE intake hose and strapped the filter to it...it's still there, but now i think it's more the sound people hear when they add an intake...i bet the tube just absorbs a lot of that sound and when it was just strapped to the TB, it had no damping
