Default Sticky Clutch ?


my clutch feels sticky like I can't explain it more than "sticky" .... Why is this ? .. I don't feel it slipping .. but its sticky .. If some one can help me out that would be GREAT!

i am talking about when i press down on the clutch it comes up and sticks some what .. but its agravateing!

need to know model and year. but in general i've found the fingers on the pressure plate gets cut off from the throwout bearing( t/o bearing). this causes the t/o bearing to cock and bind on the shaft that it slides on thus creating the sticking feeling. kind of feels like opening an old rusty door

mt480 Sounds like you nailed it ..... How do i go about fixing it ?

Oh yea 93 SC2 dohc 5 speed

you will need to replace clutch disc, pressure plate and throwout bearing, if you are getting original saturn parts flywheel needs to be chamfered on the inner edge of the contact surface, or get a flywheel also.
