Perhaps I missed the original post where you described the year of the car and what is wrong with the windows, when it happened and what you've found or are trying to do???

Open up the appropriate panels and do the following.

1] Test for voltage at the motor with the switch pressed,

if that doesn't work,

2] test for voltage at the switch.

If you have voltage at the motor with the switch pressed, then it's probably the motor. If you don't have voltage at the motor, then it's probably the switch. Test on both sides of the switch as well just to be sure.

If there's no power getting to the switch in the first place, then you've got problems further upstream in the power wires.

okay here goes...i swapped power windows and locks into my sl2 from a parts car. I tried to make sure I got everything I needed and everything hooked up where it needs to go etc. The locks work but the windows don't. I think i goofed somewhere but there is so much wiring that goes with all this that I can't find where the problem is. I thought if I could get a wiring diagram for the windows or at lest find out what color wires are for what I could figure it out but I can't seem to find a diagram for the windows. Another idea I had was to bypass all the fuse boxes and relays and crap and hook them up to an alternate power source somehow and just fuse the necessary wires independently...but I need to know how to do it. If all else fails where should I take the car to have it fixed?
