Default TB question

I was wondering if it was possible to remove the bar for the butterfly in the TB. And if so, how this is done. I know that anything that can be assembled can be disassembled, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks

Looking at the end of the rotor shaft that doesn't have the plastic on it, you'll notice bits of the aluminum housing that have been pushed down to cover it and force it to stay together. I'd imagine that by careflly removing those, and then beating it on the rotor hard on a 2x4, that you could pop it out (just take out the plate first).

Ahh, ok. I see the pieces that you're talking about, but this doesn't seem to be in the best interest of my TB, I'm afraid I'd never get them back in place (assuming there was anything left of them) once I was finished. Oh well, it was worth a shot. I was hoping that if I could remove that shaft then I could have the TB bored out straight through, rather than tapered, then find a way to rig up a larger throttle plate. Thanks anyway

The taper will make more power and flow better than a staight bore. Just thought I would let you know.
