Default Tensioner Pulley Replacement

While Changing my serpentine belt the pulley to the belt tensioner snapped off...
After spewing many expletives i decided to ask if anyone has has had to replace the belt tensioner assembly and how difficult it is. thanks.

How is the remaining supply of your expletives?

Reasonable to do but can be tight. The lower tensioner bolt is accessed through the RS wheel well. The other is best gotten from the top. Both are 10mm head bolts. You may want/need to move the PS pump out of the way to get easier access to the top tensioner bolt. That or the upper engine mount. Once the tensioer is loose it will likely fall out the bottom.

I just had a problem with the serp belt tensioner that needs to be replaeced. It's a little tricky because of the area it's in.

Dunno what your budget is, but if you do it yourself you can save a little money. But if you don't want to mess around with it, it's not extrememly expensive. I'm getting it done for around $85 parts and labor.
