Default Ticking injector?

What could cause my injector to sometimes tick on my '93 SC1?

Hmm, do you throw in Fuel Injector cleaner along with every oil change. I put some in after I change mine out.

EEK! I put fuel injector cleaner in my 95 sc2 once, and 2 days later I had problems with the car eating oil (which it had never done before). I replaced the valve cover gasket and stuff to keep the oil from getting into the wells the plugs are in, and all was find again. I don't know if that's just coincidence or what, but I've heard that stuff is bad news from a few other people.

just my 2 cents

Nah, I usually pour some fuel injector cleaner in the tank every 3-4 tanks.

The TBIs are just plain noisy. I've never heard a quiet one, and I don't think the intake would help with the noise a whole lot. Mine sounds like a sewing machine.

yeah that lil ticking I get sometimes isnt as prominent as when I first got the car. I relate that to the new wires, plugs, fuel injector cleaner and cleaner TB. I probably have a very slight one but its not noticeable anymore.
