Default a turbo queston

hey its not about a satty but my moms 89 lebbaron has the turbo 2 (13psi intercooled etc.) anyway latley as it hits the higher boost it umm how do i explain it... looses power but not gradual or anything its jerky... like its pulling then not then again then not then again ect but as its being jerky it dosnt have the same power as it would at full any time during the jerkyness... then eventually it kicks back to normal

it dosnt have a bov but i was wondering if maybe it was the waistegate or something sticking or something like that... its got the medium octane pump gass in it (which is what its had sence she got it, well sence i told my mom she shouldnt be running the regular when shes got 13psi)

or is there something else it could be.... (maybe the turbo should be worked on some (new internal **** not the propellors (or impellers whatever the acual name is) but all the "gaskets" not gaskets but the... **** i kant think.... u know what i mean....))

Have you checked for shaft play? if the turbo isnt goin out, sounds like you just have a minor boost leak. check all the connections around the intercooler, and if you can, do a pressure test, and see if you can hear it leaking anywhere

the allpar.com forums are good as well

I come here as a native of the Turbo Dodge Engines.

I own a 98 Doge Spirit ES 2.5 Turbo1 5-speed myself.

I came here because of my mom's saturn =)
