Default What size tires fit my SL1


I am trying to find out exactly what range of tire will fit my 95 SL1....for some reason no one will let me put wider tires on the car....every garage almost will tell me no...i'm osrry but you can only put the Manufacturer specs....so i just want to know what sizes do fit on my saturn..and i will do it myself in school this fall.

Checkout some of the online tire places. Most have tire size calculators. I believe tirerack.com is one.

I found out i am alowed 195/80/15's at most on my SL1

If you have STOCK SL1 wheels, you have the 14 inche wheels.

Stock size is 185/65/R14, if IIRC.

You might be able to use 195/60/R14, I'm not sure.

depends on the year. I have a 97SL1 with stock 15" wheels.

I use tirerack.com frequently in order to buy stuff, and they usually have a good help section. Check them out, and read their stuff sometime.

im riding with 215 35 18 and from the look of it I think 215 with a offset of 45 is the max in wide tire u can get while maintaining regular drving habits..
