wheel sound

I have a rubbing/vibration sound coming from my front passenger side wheel. I thought the rim might be the cause so I replaced it with another I had, that didn't solve the problem. There is no pull on launch or when braking and no shimmy or any thing just a sound. What could this be? A warped rotor? Bad CV axle? Thanks for any help.

probably a bad bearing...not an exceptionally difficult job but you can find out how to do it on the net in seconds...is the sound always there?

Based on the info given most likely the wheel bearing if it's there when driving. Kind of a rotational rumbly noise? If not then have you done the front brakes recently? Did you get the calipers back on so that the front flex line is facing to the rear and not the front? No brake work, don't think that it's the bearings. Checked the brake rotors for rust build up? Do you have any other info.

ifits the hweel ebaring and its rubbed into the hub enough you may want to consider getting one from me, the hub and bearing assay i have nearly new, like under 10k and at a fraction of the cost of what saturn charges.
many times rpelcaing just the bearings will result in premature failure as the "race" inside the hub takes the form of the old beat up bearings so repalcing the hub is recomended by saturn quite a bit when doing this job.
