Default Why did my car shut off when I was doing a 180?

Ok, so it has been snowing here for a few days, and I just started doing 180's when I come home, I have only done 3 so far. But today when I did mine, the car shut off and the SES light (and I think all the other lights) came on. Any ideas why? When doing my 180's, I am only going about 10mph, I leave it in Drive and I pull the E-brake and turn.

Auto or manual? Not that it makes a big difference but if manual than there is a bigger chance that you just managed to stall the engine. The engine shouldd not die when you do 180's unless your fuel level is low.

The SES light and the other lights will come on when the engine stops running when the ket is not turned off.

It's an auto.

Yeah, the lights must have been on because I couldn't get my key out. I couldn't figure it out, so I opened up the hood and I found that my WAI filter had come apart, so I put my stock intake back on and unplugged my battery. So I probably won't be getting any codes. BUT - I couldn't get my key out because the car was shifted to Reverse. (I couldn't start it either). So I shifted to Park and started it and then everything was fine. I just don't know how it got to Reverse.
