wont go into gear or stay in gear WTF??!!

Ok since about a couple of weeks ago it started popping outta 4th gear! And since yesterday I couldnt get it into 2nd it would either grind or just not go in all the way, It would pop out!! So im really frustrated at this point!! Also I recently had a dif. pin saver kit installed! Now I figured it was the shifter cables so I replaced those today still nothing!!?? I do have a short shifter if that makes a difference!! Anyone experience this? Or have any idea wtf is goin' on let me know! Thanks

Maybe its just a broken gate? Is that possible? I really no nothing about trannies....
