Default SPOC national website?

Thought came up in another thread - what do people think of a national SPOC website? Just a small informative site that refers people to the correct chapter for their area, and outlines a few activies of each club. No forum or anything - the forum stays here.

i think that would be a great idea-

the home page could have a map outlining the different chapters that you can click on

I talked a little with CelticShadow through myspace, and am working on a rough mock-up. There are basically 3 layers to it - a main page to describe what the club overall is, a chapters overview page, listing the chapters and with a map where you can click on the states to link to the appropriate chapter, and finally a set of pages for a little more detail about each club - just a short write up about the club and a set of links (website, forum, myspace, etc, as applicable).

*edit* oh, and probably a page for "what if there isnt' a chapter in my area?", and we can give guidelines on how to start a new chapter.

Anything else it would need?
