Default Home sub

ok so i have a box that's 13*16*24 and i need a 12" sub for it! the old one died, and i have an 11" cutout for a new sub, and a 250 watt plate amp.
this looks like a nice sub, and I like the brand. Will this work well with my 3/4 mdf box, and if i want to port it, what port should i buy at partsexpress to get a good balance of low freq/spl?

Dayton makes nice woofers. Be sure to check out the 12" Titanic, it's on sale right now for $125. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=295-404

I'll have to input some numbers into WinISD and figure out what size port would work best. You're talking about a simple round port though, right? The box is currently sealed?

WTF! it goes on sale as soon as i buy the other one..god

well I just received the other sub i linked today

It would be cool if i could make it ported, i can do anything, but i think 1 flared round port would be easiest.

I have WinISD beta on my computer, but im not sure how to design any boxes with it, I can just input the woofer information and such..
