Default Will these 6.5's fit?

Crutchfield says they dont fit, but why?

How deep are they?

You can always go with the 6012i's those fit and sound great

I hope you're not planning on connecting those to a normal CD player, or the stock deck. With a 2-Ohm impedance, you'd fry the deck.

An amplifier would run them fine though. I'm running 2 Ohm front speakers (Orion HCCA Millennium 6.5"s) and love them.

I'm doubting the depth would be an issue at 2", but you could always add spacers like SouthPole mentioned.

Your right! And thats why they don't fit. They can't recommend something that will cause harm to a factory system.
