Default Suprised

Keep forgetting how quick our cars can move when you pair a decent stick shift driver with the DOHC/MP3 plastic turds..

From 2K in 2nd all the way to 6.5K in 4th (105 mph)
01' SL2
walks
all
over
06' BMW 325i

When I mean walks I mean why couldnt the kid keep up with me? car lengths in the end.

Most people would rather drive a "sporty" luxurious BMW. Point made.

the bmw weighs 3200, your car is 2400 so i'd expect a lot of space initially, but the 215 horses and 185 torque would destroy your N/A satty. it doesn't seem like a lot of difference between the saturn horsepower and torque *especially when weight is involved* but my measy hyundai v6 would

walk
all
over

your driving skills, especially at higher speeds and that bmw has a much stronger drivetrain than my car does.

he wasn't trying at all. point made.

my 3.3 litre has 234 horses and 225 torque, you say it can't walk all over you? come on, i had the dohc and pushed it hard, i know it couldn't compete. this paintball kid just puts himself on a high horse and i'm knocking him down to reality. that bmw guy pulled out early

No he didnt. Raced him twice both times he lost and followed me home to prove it. Im not sure how old you are to be calling me a kid. Just cause im in college and you may not be doesnt make you that much older, more able to "push" a saturn, or sound tough. Goldie your far far far more popular on here you have been a member for much longer than I have. You probably know more about our cars. Im just sayin he lost. I won. I walked all over him. I can drive a 5 speed. Saturns are decent when you can too.

i'm in colege too haha

http://www.saturnspot.com/forum/view...=315503#315503

see there, same topic (albeit the car is lighter). it's never "just about the driver" simple physics and mechanics will tell you that. his car is faster, and there's no logical way that if he was REALLY pushing it (especially as an automatic and if it really were a 325/328 not the 330/335) that he would've been "walked all over" by you and your N/A saturn
