Welcome!

You ended up with my favorite model 1g SC2=win. 2g interior=win. 95 motor = win win win. Perfect! Almost bought one myself. When you say project car, do you mean track car?

Hey Bro

Welcome to our Forum

So does your SC2 have an Auto-tragic Tranny or a 5 Speed?

If ya gotta 5 Speed, look into getting an ACT 6 Puck or Street Performance Clutch. it's The S H I T !!!!!

I gotta '00 SL2 and recently (2 months ago) had the Friggin Auto-tragic Tranny swapped out for a 5 Speed and had an ACT Street Performance Clutch installed when the 5 Speed went in. The Clutch engages smooth and Grips Like H E L L !!!

The ACT Street Performance Clutch I got from Ian @ qksltwo (he's in California) was about $425 (US Dollars). This was about $100 less than the ACT company themself in California and it was about$150 - $200 less then any local tuner shops here in Miami, FL.

Dood, you will be pleasantly pleased with that Clutch........
ACT Street Performance or ACT 6 Puck

Actually the 6 Puck would have been a litttle less expensive, but this is my Daily Driver and I didn't want the 6 Puck as I wasn't sure how "streetable" is was going to be.

I F'n LUV the Clutch...
I can take my Beast
1st up to 30mph
2nd from 30mph to 50mph
3rd 50mph to 80mph
4th 80mph to 110mph
I can go more than 110 in 4th but I haven't and I never maxed it out in 5th. I gotta Auto-tragic PCM so I don't have a Fuel cutout at 4,000 RPM in Neutral, I can go past the 6.500 redline - but I try not to do that too often, and I don't have a MPH cut off as it's already been to 110mph.

Later
