Default Greetings.

Greetings to everyone on the SaturnSpot. The Saturn forum with a harder edge.
On the tamer family-friendly and more politically active Saturnfans.com I am Pete93SL1M. However, since the 93 is sitting in the driveway waiting for it's 4th or 5th Alternator I'm not sure I'll be keeping that ride too much longer.
I've always had a thing for Saturn cars since before I bought mine used in 1999.
I also own a lightly modded 1998 Buick Regal GS (intake/exhaust/reprogrammed computer/smaller pulley) that I normally reserve for highway cruising but for the moment is my daily driver.

My handle is my job. I am a Saturn Sales Consultant at one of the largest Saturn stores in the country Saturn of the Valley in North Hills, California. (Los Angeles San Fernando Valley for those not familiar with the area).

I don't think Saturn is a perfect car or a perfect company but I do believe in the principles that started the company and I have a great deal of confidence in both the retailer I work for and Saturn as a car and company.

I admire everyone who cares enough about their Saturn to change it to suit their own personality, whether it be sharp appearance or snappier accelleration or tighter handling.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Peter

Peter !! Welcome to the family.

I must agree with you, as far as having a thing with Saturn. I've basically been a foreign man most of my life (89 Toyota, 94, 99, and 02 Hyundai, and 90 Mitsubishi). I bought my 94 SL1 5spd used also at a public auction and I love that car. I must admit I put it to the test.... redlining it, dogging it out, powershifting, burn outs you name it I done it and when the smoke cleared, she was still rollin' tough getting 30 miles to the gallon. Not to mention the well thought engineering of the car and that alloy engine block really was a killer idea and it handles heat very well. It sounds like you have a very interesting job doing BIG things with the company keep up the good work. We are here for you.... Any questions, be sure to ask us

Take care and once again Welcome!!!

Peace
