Hello I bought a 94 SL1 about 2 months ago for $500. The car has a few minor problems that I'm having trouble getting going but nothing to major. The lady I bought the car from I worked with and she had it sitting in her yard for quite some time. She also had a shop work on it that knew absolutely nothing and messed up a few things. The broke the EGR solenoid and bypassed it by just running the hose to the EGR wide open. I'm looking for a new solenoid now. Another little issue is I have a battery drain problem. The battery was new when the lady sold me the car. If the battery is bad it is because of something draining it so I see no point in buying a new battery until I find the source of my problem. But the car runs when I get the battery charged. There is another slight thing that is wrong that I haven't figured out yet. When I get up to around 70 mph the car makes a sound and gets kinda shaky. But overall for the price and the few minor problems I have it was a pretty good deal I think.
