Default hello everyone thank you for taking the time to read this!


my name is frank i live in the wilkes barre scranton area of pennsylvania and i own a 1995 saturn sl and i am in the process of making it a little street beast and i was wondering if i could mount on any lower pressure turbo with out serious work my father stated that you can mount any turbo on any car its just the pressure system within the turbo is this true and if so what would you recommend.

well, I probably can't answer all his questions that will come up with a turbo build, but I can tell ya that it is possible to turbo a stock motor. Proper tuning will be critical. I believe the common guideline for turbo on stock motor is up to around 200hp - much beyond that and you're going to need to build the engine internals specifically for the turbo setup. Honestly, though, I don't know what to tell you beyond that, except that there are a lot more guys on *********** that could help you with turbo stuff than on here, though there are a few on here that can probably tell you more than I can.

everyone's just going to tell you you're in over your head, and you need to read more

you need a couple thousand dollars and a lot of frustration to turbo a saturn

Yes yes...lots of reading before you ask about turbo-ing.

Honestly, it will probably never happen. It is alot of work.
