Default hello from UKRAINE

hi guys, I am Saturn SL2 '94 owner and live far far away from it's origin, in Ukraine (located at the middle of Europe if someone dont know

unlike to US, my car is unbelievable rare here so big forums like SaturnSpot are my only source of information

some words about car itself. it's champage color, have 1.9 dohc, mechanical transmission, already walked 128000 miles. windows moved mechanically (I have good choice to add motors there) but it have working air conditioner and motorised hatch. I had many cars before and I like how Saturn moves compared to Ford Scorpio or Mersedes 124 or VW Passat. SL2' 1.9 engine have real turbo-diesel torque with gasoline speed and power

nice to meet you

no-no, its produced in Detroit and have normal left hand drive it just did long way from NY to my town through the Europe. one possible problem is replacement parts (128000 miles is high mileage for engine and body) but at least it will not rot on the stalk like one cars with fully metal body.

photos.. I guess I better wash the car before taking them we had some raining here and my Saturn is dirty like truck

The Saturn S-Series was actually made in Spring Hill, Tennessee, which is pretty far from Detroit. It's out in the middle of farm country, and is really a pretty nice factory, too. It's one of GM's most productive & highest quality plants from what I understand. Thought you might enjoy the info.

So you actually drove the car from NY to Europe? Obviously some of that trip was by boat... bet the border agents questioned it coming through
