Default introducing . . . . me!

Hey everyone! Just thought I'd do a little introducing. My name's Laura and I'm from northwest Indiana. I've got a 1993 SL2 (don't be mad or think I'm a traitor, but I've also got a 2000 Grand Am GT - just purchased it last September). I bought the SL2 in October '99 and her and I have been through hell and back. Had an engine swap at 117,000 miles do to extreme engine oil burning. I was putting in a quart every 300 miles!! So we did a transplant from a totaled '94 SL2 with 76,000 and she has been running strong ever since. In April of '03 we had a little fender bender (literally) - smashed the front bumper cover and scratched the hood up pretty good, but thanks to my auto-body friend, she's good as new. Here's a little more about her:

What she had in '99 when I bought her:
started off with 88,000 miles, power windows/locks, factory cd player, sunroof

My simple mods:
- aftermaket fog lights
- Aiwa head unit
- sunroof deflectors
- window deflectors (all 4 windows)
- 20% tint all the way around, including a brow on the windshield
- '94 SL2 engine (with 76,000 miles installed @ 117,000)
- new hood and front bumper cover (thanks to my fender bender)

Anywho - I didn't forget all about her, just working on modifying my GT right now . . . well now that I've finally got a job again after being laid of for almost 4 months! Okay, enough about me - just saying hello!

Here's a link to a site I put up for my Satty:
