not even a noob yet I don't even have a car yet, looking for a dohc SC2. Don't car about year, just something in decent condition. I have a good friend that has been showing me alot of atvantages to buying a saturn, and I have to admit, I like 'em. They are tunable, and replacement OEM parts are not an arm and a leg. So if any one has any good deals they want to unload, hit me up, thanks!

What kinda price range are you looking in? With an idea of price range, I/we can give you an idea of what you might be able to get. Fortunately, even though Saturns are good vehicles, they depreciate in value quickly. While that's a bad thing for someone looking to sell, it's a great thing for someone looking to buy.

First off, thanks for the polite welcome, you'd be suprised how many forums you start out in will diss you right away just for being new. Secondly, my price range is not a huge one, I'm more or less looking for a project car, that can also get me to work everyday, but I also want something that maybe has a few mods. The #'s range is 1500-3000$. Again, thanks for the warm welcome, and peace!

Everyone's gotta start sometime. That kinda price range could probably get you something as new as the somewhat late '90's, maybe newer if you went for a stripped down model. Might do well getting a mid-'90's one and having some money left for things like getting maintenance up to date and other minor repairs, and maybe a few fun mods.

That pretty much seems to be the word around the camp fire. I have seen a couple of things in the for sale section of this website. Just trying to get some of them to send pics though. I really think its cool how some of these cars are well within my price range, and come with a good amount of mods! When I was looking for hondas in the same price range, rarely did I see anything under 3G's that had any good mods.
