I am having a hard time finding the window switch for my 2000 LS1. The motor that fit was for a 1999 model -- the 2000 version listed with everybody was a completely different model. Any suggestions?
Part of your problem may be confusion over your model.
1999 is S-series only. With your 2000 you could have an L-series or an S-series.
It will make difference for the window switches.

You are probably right about the switch. I just got a quote from a boneyard on the web for $130! For that kind of money I'll live without the express down feature!!! Does anyone know of a more reasonable source? The '99 switches are laid out differently but have all the same functions. I found them on eBay for up to $50.
