Default ABS Sensor on 2005 Ion

I have a 2005 Ion. The car is 3 years old and the anti lock brakes are not working. My mechanic said that the sensor needs replacement but they do not make just the sensor yet as the car is too new. Has anyone heard of a recall for this problem. Warranty was 3 years or 36,000 miles (I have 42,000).

If the aftermarket does not have them then Saturn will.
