Smile Aftermarket Exhaust/fuel mileage

Hi everyone, I'm new here but I was wondering if anyone got better gas mileage with the ion after installing aftermarket exhaust, and if so how much? I have an 07 Ion 3 sedan 2.2L and I'm thinking about doing the exhaust for a little more hp, and for better mileage. The kit I am looking at is the Magnaflow 16618 (for the 4 door cobalt) 2 1/4", I think all that I'll have to do is cut the muffler hanger off, and mig on the correct one. Has anyone elst put this cat back on, good system or no? Anyway any help would be appreciated! Oh yea, if RJION is reading this, where did you get that trim piece for the cut out on your rear bumper? Thanks!

You might get a handful of horsies out of your catback.

You might get 1-2 mpg higher fuel rating.

If you decide to show your exhaust notes off, you will get 1-2 less.

My 2003 ION gets about .5 MPG more in the city, 1.5 more on the highway.
