I have 296 miles on my car right now after zeroing on a full tank and still have 1/4 tank of gas left. My car is also a 2k4 Ion QC 5 spd. Only upgrades on the engine i have is CAI and Ceramic coated pace setter header. I haven't even given the thing any kind of tune up and it has 59k on it. Only thing I make sure I do regularly is change the oil. Hope that helps out.

my ion 2 sedan with the manual trans gets to about 385-400 before the low fuel light comes on, and thats with 10% ethanol fuel, so im sure if i were to get some "good" gas at a gas station that does not have oxygenated fuel i might be able to beat it by a good 50 miles

I have an Ion 2 sedan, 2004, stock, and I'm only getting around 300 miles/ tank. Thats about 35% highway and 65% city. I'm thinking there might be something up, cause if I recall correctly, I used to get around 350...

I don't let my tank go below 1/4.........so per tank means nothing to me. I average in my driving loop to and from work with my 2006 ION-3 2.4L auto 24.84 miles per gallon.

07 ion 3 sedan 2.2L auto, on my first long trip half being 55-60 mph, and half 70-75 mph-I averaged 34.8 miles per gallon (no AC/windows up)! I had to check it twice to believe it myself, car only had 1000 miles on it when I started the trip!

I used to get about 34 mpg's now it has dropped to around 26, (probably due to the winter fuel grade), but i noticed the drop before the cold weather hit, i changed oil to full synthetic, new air filter, cleaned throttle body and intake, tire press. set to the high side, even babying her on the highway (60-65) and at take-offs I can still only manage about 25-26 mpg's.

2003 Ion Q.C Manual- 64k
