Get a supercharger IMO. You need to talk to a specialty shop about this.

Get a kit! if you are asking what items need to build it, I assume you don't know much about it. Also, what HP figure you looking at? NOS is kinda a quick fix and temporary 'juice'. Also learn about the difference of supercharger and turbo setup.

Lots of work involved for a turbo set-up, (High flow fuel pump, Fuel tuning PCM tuning etc..) A brand new kit can cost close to 3,500 bucks, not worth it IMO, Don't forget you'll need to run premium fuel with a supercharger. Save that money, and use it to get a faster car, Nitrous is the cheaper way to go.

I disagree, I think a Supercharger is more complicated for a DIY. Its relatively easy to find turbo manifolds, turbo's and the stuff to kit it together yourself DIY. Where as the supercharger adapter plate to mount the supercharger isn't readily available, along with the pulleys to run the belt. I wouldn't try to piece a DIY supercharger kit, I would do turbo just like you planned on if your building the system yourself. Thier is also alot more info on building a turbo DIY project, than a Supercharger DIY. Good site for technical info is Ecotecforum.com You can use a mega squirt, or even a SDS EIC for tuning, HP Tuners might have something out now. Doesn't matter if you run Supercharger or Turbocharger both your gonna have to tune for.
