The ION Red Line was put into production during the week of April 22, 2004.

The ION Red Line, which was developed with the GM Performance Division,
includes a 2.0-liter supercharged, inter-cooled, 205 horsepower engine; a
racetrack-bred suspension; large four-wheel disc brakes; 17-inch forged
wheels; and a unique, close-ratio 5-speed manual transmission. The vehicle
sports a lowered suspension, high-flow stainless-steel exhaust,
leather-accented RECARO performance seats, spoiler, and front, rear and side
rocker exterior styling specific to the Red Line model.

Other standard equipment includes: ABS, AM/FM stereo with CD and MP3 player
power windows and outside rearview mirrors, remote keyless entry and
security alarm. The performance coupe also features standard dual rear
access doors and Saturn's unique dent-resistant polymer body panels. Other
options are available, like power sunroof, head curtain airbags and XM
Radio.

This information was put together with the help of many RLF members, there were two different color blues, but there is some debate on the number of each and the exact colors, so they are lumped together. NoRemorse on RLF board did much of the research and I compiled numbers and statistics.
