Unhappy My Sunroof is leaking!! HELP!

I have had my 2004 Saturn Ion for about three years. I bought it new and have not had a problem until now. We haven't had rain in awhile, and Friday we got a huge storm. I went out to my car and water was coming in through the A Pillars and the ceiling by the door was soaked! I have no idea what to do to fix it! I don't have a lot of money to go to the dealership and get it fixed, but something needs to be done! Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Kendra

Mos likely the drain hose at the corners of the sunroof has come off of the sun roof. If you carefully remove the stuff holding the headliner up--sunvisor, trim panels, weather stripping etc, you should be able to get the headliner down enough to get the hose checked out and back on if it is off. If the hoses are still on then they may be clogged and you have to try and clear them. Chances are it is the hose (s) off of the sunroof.

I have just experienced this same problem this morning. I have a 2007 Ion 3 and the water was dripping from the map lights. I called the dealer and they said that this is not uncommon for these cars. Mine is getting checked right now, I will post again when they are sure what the cause is and if there is a DIY fix
