Wonder when/if they'll offer the Vue with the new 2.4L ecotec? Just checked, and it's still just offered with the 2.2L or the 6 cyl according to the website. I'd think they'd love to get it in there...

how much different is the 2.4 to the 2.2? extremely noticeable power gain? or just better reliability?

2.2L = 140 hp
2.4L = 170 hp, with no drop in economy. It has VVT (variable valve control).

I was talking to a girl from saturn corporate a few days ago while she was in town. The next upgrade to the Vue will be a 2006 release of the GreenLine Vue. A Hybrid Version.

Yeah, the greenline vue should be nice. The still need to put the 2.4L in it, though...

Aaah, there we go. More power AND more economy. Of course, since the 2.4L makes 30 more hp at the same economy level as the 2.2L, it should probably just replace the 2.2L across the board once it's a proven engine, I would think.

Not so sure about that. Direct quote from the last email I recieved from my contact at saturn

"I am not aware of any plans to make the VUE available with the 2.4L, but I will look into it and get back to you."
