Just picked up a new 04 Onyx Black Redline with stock six speaker CD player, which I'd like to upgrade. Questions:

1. What are the three speaker sizes I'll need for replacements?

2. Where's the best place to locate an external amp? (Under the passenger seat?)

3. Any positive experience with the soundproofing material?

4. Finally, any recommendations/feedback about what you've put in your Redline?

the speakers are 6.5 in. they are located in the front and rear doors. the other 2 speakers are the tweeters located on the front doors by the mirrors.

there are many places you can locate the amp, all depending on size.

1. back of subwoofer enclosure
2. under seat
3. if you pull up the carpet floor in the back (like trying to get to the spare) you might have some room there for an amp.

and you do know the audio system in the redline is the same as in other vues. its not exclusive to only the redline.
