Default Wheels and tires for Vue Redline

Just got my Vue this summer and with winter coming I was wondering if anyone knew what tire and wheel combinations are available for good winter traction. Orig equip 245/50R 18 100V and I'm a little skeptical they will hold the road on ice and snow

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. Hopefully you've found some good tires by now, if not:

Check out www.tirerack.com

They have a decent selection... you're not going to find Z rated winter tires, but there are some nice ones available...

Check out Pirelli's and Dunlops... I don't know anyone with Dunlops, and never thought they were that great, but the winter dunlops they recomend had great reviews all across the board...

The dunlop's seem to have better ratings, but check both of these out:

They are both H rated, it's the best you'll prolly get for winter tires...

Dunlop Winter Sport M3
Pirelli Winter 210 SnowSport
