Default 1994 Saturn SL Series Transmission Rattle

Hi, my mother has a 1994 Saturn SL series with under 80,000 miles that seems to be having some issues. We regularly change the fluids, maintained by getting tune ups and all that good stuff. Well recently she noticed that when shifting at any RPM exceeding 2,000 it begins to emit what sounds to me like lifter noise. Now, we've eliminated that potential issue seeing as how it only makes these clattering sounds while in gear.

I've tried using reverse to see if I can reproduce it but it doesn't create any of those noises. I would hook up my OBDII troubleshooter to it but the vehicle is too old and is not OBDII compatible. Originally we thought it was an issue with the CV Axel so we replaced that, and it didn't help, tried adding some Lucas Trans and the problem is still there.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, she's a widow on a very fixed income and I thought to come to all of you first before possibly dumping 1,200$ into a new transmission.

Noises are more hen hard to diagnose in this kind of situation.
The first thing that you may want to look at is the upper engine mount to see if it has collapsed. They generally don't cause noise while driving but if bad enough????
Beyond that it is going to be a matter of hunting.
