I want to know everything that I can possible take from a SC2 and put in a SL1. Yes this sounds bad but I have a limited bugdet and buying a SC2 just isn't there.

DOHC 16 valve Saturn 1.9L - 100whp
SOHC 8 valve Saturn 1.9L - 85whp

Difference - 15whp (17% gain from SOHC)
When you think about it, its just not as much as you think.

What do you mean by everything possible? Engine, seats, body panels? That's going to cost WAY more than just buying an SC2. If money is an issue, the cheapest way to get the twincam is honestly to sell your car and buy an SC2 if you can't do the engine swap yourself. If the SL1 is totalled or something, then that's a different issue.

When you're talking about racing and performance upgrades, you talk wheel horsepower. When you're talking factory cars, you talk flywheel HP, cause every car is different.

2000 Twincam (124 HP, ~110 WHP)
2000 Singlecam (100 HP ~85 whp)

17%is more than you think. you take any car add 17 percent more hp and itll be noticebly faster. not only that, but w/the low weight of our cars, and the 17 percent is even more noticble.
2300 lbs/85 whp=27 lbs per hp
2300 lbs/100whp=23 lbs per hp. that a big diff.
2300 lbs/110 whp=20.9 lbs per hp. bigger difference, and its even more realistic
