Default 93' SC2 odometer\trip meter probs, Help?

hey all,
new to the site and i need some serious saturn help, i got my car about 2 months ago and it was used, so naturally i assumed there would be some minor probs with it. minor turning soon into major. i mean oil in my spark plug housings, which i fixed with a new gasket. power steering pump leak which turned into a blow up all over my engine, ruining my alternator, which i fixed with simple carb\choke cleaner . saved my alternator and i replaced the dang pump. now im down to the simpler probs, a simple tune-up fixed my check engine light as always. but now im trying to get my odometer and trip meter to work. seeing as how im moderatly skilled in car repair everyone knows saturns are a ***** to work on. i need to know where my odometer\trip meter sensor is located on the tranny or in the head unit which ive recently discovered is electrical. now im only 19 so fixing my car is runing a tight budget any inexpensive help would be much appreciated thanks

yeah i think theyre rather easy to work on as opposed to euro cars
anyhoo what do i know ive only been doin it for 13 years
the speed sensor is on the trans
if its manual the other one is reverse light
if the guage is bad go to a pick and pull and grab a cluster it should take about 5 min to remove
if you re just starting out i wouldnt venture into instrument cluster voltage regulators and other electrical nightmares
just grab some cheap **** out of a scrapyard and be done with it
