now i plan to put the 94 dohc engine into the 95 SOHC/manual trans car mated to the manual trans.

You need an EGR adapter. You can get it from the dealer or from a member LowSaturn. the '94 uses a vacum egr while the '95 uses an electric one.

You also need a Man DOHC '95 PCM. Your '95 PCM wont work as its for a SOHC engine. Your '94 PCM wont work as its for a DOHC Automatic and not a manual and will give you errors codes and wont pass inspection bc the SES light will be on. Junk yard is the best place to find this.

Other than that, its all plug and play. You have all the parts so it should be quite easy.

The man PCM doesnt care about the tranny at all. Actually if you look at the transmission there are only 2 sensor, the VSS and the Reverse sensor on top of the shift tower. Other than that the PCM doesnt see anything from the tranny.

The only possible problems with having a MP2 tranny with a DOHC car is the cruise control (if equipped) May be off. You'll have to see. Your DOHC will be running at much lower rpms than if it had the MP3 tranny on it. Thats really the only difference.

OK go the pcm and um...... the harness wont plug in it?

harness ends are pink and the pcm has blue plug holes.

am i supposed to modify the harness ends(trim the plastic) to fit the holes in the PCM?

or do i got the wrong pcm?

You need a '95 Man DOHC PCM. Since they are from the same year and are both manual the engine harness' are the same and there for should just plug in. I suspect you got the wrong PCM.

If they say thats the right part then the only thing I can think of is that a '95 the SOHC harness is different than a '95 DOHC harness. However I cant picture this being true.
