| 97 sl1, perf and norm button on the tranny, what does it do? it feels like it downshifts faster, and holds the gear longer. is that what its supposed to do?

| I've noticed in my sc2 that when I flip it on performance then its stays in each gear longer to get more power out of that gear but it guzzles gas quicker than "normal". I usually keep it on normal and if I'm "racing" someone then I put it on performance. |
