well they have a different intake manifold, as well as a different location of the trottle body, which could slightly alter things

I've never had or used an AEM, but the qksltwo 3" intake sounds a whole lot smoother than the dr. speeedy. But it was also quite a bit more expensive.

Saty was it worth it to spend $180 more on an intake for sound? or did you notice any performance gain over the $20 dr.speedy

Seeing as how I haven't taken it to the track yet, I've no idea as to what sort of performance gain I achieved.

All in all, I'd have to say, yeah, the qksltwo intake is well worth the $180 (plus $40 for filter) I payed for it compared to the $40 (plus another $40 for filter) for the dr. speeedy. Not just due to sound alone, but because the fit of the qksltwo is far superior to the fit of the eBay intake.

And yeah, I'm sure that it will help me out with my quarter-mile times as well.

Ian seems to be a bit slow at emails, but I'm sure he'll get to you soon.
