I just bought a 02 SC2 and I was wondering exactly how I remove the door panels? I have a 98 gmc sierra and I imagine its about the same. I just like to get an idea before I start something. Also does the lower door panel that has the door "pocket" and grille for the 6.5" component come off from the interior door panel (will make easier when fiberglassing if it does)?
Any pics anywhere of installs either? I am not sure how indepth people go on this site.
Remove the inner door handle. All of the screws in the door. The push pins on the back of the panel if there are any. The window crank if there is one. With all of the holds downs etc off give the door panel give is sharp rap up and the panel should now come off.
