and as for an indicated 123mph, how did you do this, iv tryed and cant get over 110mph, soon as it hits 4th gear at 110mph it runs out of breath, any mods?

pretty sure the speed limiter tops out at 114 buddy..

You guys gotta remember, that was INDICATED, not actual speed...
BMW has a rule about thier speedometers, 10 percent, plus or minus, is acceptable error,
so 100MPH in a BMW could be anywhere between 90mph, and 110mph!
My guess is that my Saturn had about 20 percent error!!

I toped out at 135 mph with my twin cam. Anyways back to the topic, if you read your manuals, you will see that it says that the perfomance mode is for speeds over 40 mph.

the speedo isnt broken, and I did top it out at 135 on I94 2 days ago. Need proof? Tell me where to meet you and I will be there.
