Default Automatic to Manual

Has anyone done this? Convert ur Saturn from Automatic to Manual (or any car in particular)??

Yes many have done it. Its easy and cheap with the help of a junk yard and skill level

How long do you think that this will take to complete? I have only ever helped with minor repairs and I have to say that a job that size sounds daunting. Good luck, I hope you're happy with it manual!

Well since i'm unemployed at the moment thanks to a special dip**** (thats let get into that story lol), i'm gonna be working on it everyday til its done. Plus i got a few friends that'd help too so it shouldnt take very long.

Lowsaturn can do it all in an afternoon haha. That translates into human time as a weekend job with no set backs. transmission swap is about 11 hours, then the minor stuff (cables, clutch switch etc).

Hey i have heard that you can use the auto PCM with the MT. all you have to do is put a mill eliminator on the wires that would go to the auto trany sensors. From what i have heard i has better fuel mapping. Any one ever tryed this?
