*HP chip??? is it worth it, has anyone baught it on ebay?
(ok just an idea) fender scoop to pick up air for the CAI
*rebuild engine
*Strut bar
*What do breathers do?
And well what else can I really do without expecting a really big payment?

BTW saving money to buy a new car... ideas...

i dunno if that tornado thing is worth the money- i would use that money towards something else

do not buy a chip off ebay (or anywhere)- they do not work

when you say breathers, are you reffering to breather filters?

Skip the tornado insert and the hp chip - neither will do anything.

The CAI & header are a good idea. As far as what one header has other the other - one might be coated or something. Not sure.

The bypass valve - some will tell you not to bother, others will say it's good insurance. I've not heard a totally convincing arguement either way, so that's up to you. Personally, I'd put it toward the bottom of the list & just stay out of puddles.

Cat-back exhaust - good!

fender scoop... would have to have a better idea what you have in mind, but it's probably unnecessary.

rebuild engine... does it need to be rebuilt (not running right), or do you have a goal (high compression, etc). If neither, don't worry about it, IMO.

Strut bar - good, just don't buy an uber-expensive one. You'd have to be a very serious autox-er for it to make a lick of difference over a cheap e-bay one.

Breathers... idea is to let hot oily gasses out of the valve cover, but they generally don't do much of anything & are more of a looks item 90% of the time.

Other stuff you could do... bore the throttlebody, reduce car weight, some other stuff.

buy a new car... Unless you're Mr. Moneybags, I'd have one car that you mod & have fun with, one that you leave close to stock. If car #2 is going to be a performance car (TA, Impala), you may want to leave your saturn as a daily & mod that, or you'll always be dissapointed that you pour big bucks into the saturn & not have the performance of the other car stock.

All are just my opinions, take 'em or leave 'em. Overall - it's your $$, do what you want.

I've never seen a Pacesetter header for our cars but I have the OBX 4-2-1 stainless steel and it's pretty good. No complaints other than a reoccuring gasket issue I've yet to debug.

I'd get the Trans Am

Well, the tornado is more for the gas. Im not looking so much for a HP upgrade with that. Guess the chip isnt worth it. Rebuild it, because it sounds nasty when I move the throttle body. You hear the sparks and its very shaky. Maybe I just need new seals. And im just looking for a car to get to places, and keep the saturn for a low class car. Take it to the track just for fun. Something to race my friends cars at the strip. Also maybe for car shows to spend some valuble time just being there doing absoloutly nothing. Maybe someday when I am older and have more money I'll go more serious at the strip. I seam to burn ALOT of oil. I got a new filter and a oil for cars 75k+ miles and thats been really good. I dont know if a breather would help. The fender scoop would be something custom, but if its more then 100 then its off the list right away. and well, rims are coming asap. But since im putting alittle on the side from every paycheck for the new car, its coming alittle slower then I thought. Well thanks for the pos. Feedback so far. And thanks for your opinions

It won't help the gas either. They just plain do nothing but restrict air flow. Plus, if a piece would happen to come off, you're looking at expensive engine repairs.

Nothing wrong with an Impala - they're nice cars.

Haha...give me lots of money, and I will put shiny things in your crankcase and tell you it will make your car better. Also, I will restrict your intake, with scientific facts I made up, and also send you a resistor and claim it adds 35 HP.

You're an idiot.
