Default bleeding the trans?


when doing an engine swap how do u bleed the trans?? is it possible to pull the engine without pulling the trans too??im just confused about the whole thing

bleed it? You mean drain it? There's a drain bolt in the bottom, just like for draining oil...

You can pull the engine without the tranny, but I've not done it so I'll leave details for someone who has...

i was under the impression you had to bleed the trans after pulling it, is that not the case???

No. Follow the intructions I gave you. Drain it and then pull the engine and trans in one piece.

I worked at a tranny shop for a while, and still do occasionally when help is needed, and i have never heard of "breeding a trans".

ok thats good news, i need to transfer some parts from one engine to the other but i think i'll be o.k. well with the helpful people here, i can do this...

i going to start friday and hoping by sunday everything will be running, shoalin thanks for the info, i just might call if anything comes up, but i plan on taking as much time as needed, so prey for me j/k

oh yeah u said 4 motor mounts i know three two on trans and the tam but wheres the fourth?
