Post Brake line Pic

Just a note to anyone driving an older SC model. It'd be a good idea to check the brake lines under the car if you haven't already. It's a particularly good idea if the car is driven in an area where salt is used on the roads. I drive in a region where salt is used only occasionally, and this is what the right rear brake line on my SC2 looked like. I hose off the underside of the car regularly, so the rust wasn't a result of neglect. And now for an opinion: if you aren't really, really good at double-flaring brake lines, don't make the same mistake I did and try replacing steel brake line yourself. I got two out of three flares correct. The third was a fiasco.
But that's a painful story for another time.
