Default Coolant looks like milk

Well I've seen the threadson various forums and I guess now its my turn... the coolant in my car looks like 100% vitamin D milk. No sign of rust or the nice green of the coolent, just a white substance. So that means I've either cracked the head or blown the head gasket, right?

did it used to look fine? I'm not sure I've even looked at how bad the coolant is in my project car... I hope the previous owner didn't use any stop leak. If it used to look fine, and now it looks like that... yeah, that's bad. I'd guess head gasket.

my neighbor had a saturn he was fixing with the same problem, the oil pressure made its way over to a coolant line.
either a new head gasket or your head may be warped, and check your oil!!!
if you run the car with coolant in the oil you can mess **** up bad

Hopefully it didn't overheat and cause the head to warp.

Either way that engine doesn't have alot of life left if there is that much coolant in the oil. Bye bye bearings.

Good question, I just went and checked, oddly enough the oil is nice and brownish-black, like it should be. Okay, the coolant is white but oil seems okay, what does this mean?

Car is also smoking, white smoke, when the engine gets above 4k. Needless to say, thats only happened once since I've noticed the problem.

having oil in the coolant isnt good but its better than having coolant in your oil.
its the head gasket or the cylinder head. sounds like it was over rev'd allot and cracked a journal. (maybe)
but it could just be the gasket.
im guessing the head though..
although iv seen a few people drive with oil in the coolant, it was while they were looking into another car.

its a bad head gasket
since the coolant pressure is almost always lower than oil pressure the oil will make a little channel around the gasket and into the coolant passage
